JSC Gazprom neftekhim Salavat
OJSC Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat is the country's largest petrochemical complex, located in the city of Salavat, Republic of Bashkortostan. The company has combined three plants: a refinery, a petrochemical plant "Monomer" and a gas chemical plant.
1.At the refinery make gasoline, diesel fuel, fuel oil, bitumen and other products. Like other large oil refineries in the country, they are focused on producing high-class fuel - Euro 5. Euro-4 and Euro-3 are simply not profitable to produce - too high excise taxes have to be paid.
2.Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat uses West Siberian oil and gas condensate. The first type of raw material is processed at the unit ELOU-AVT-6, the second - at ELOU-AVT-4.
3.In 2014, a total of 8,668 thousand tons of hydrocarbons were processed.
4.If we decompose the refinery into a production chain, we get something like the following: primary processing of oil and stable gas condensate, catalytic cracking, catalytic reforming, hydrotreating diesel fuel, production of aromatic hydrocarbons, fuel oil and bitumen.
5.This chain is completed by a commodity workshop, where all components are mixed in tanks, and receive gasoline. Gasoline consists of the fraction from the Gas Fractionation Unit, fraction 90-КК, НК-62 from the reformate fractionation unit, raffinate, pentane of the isopentane fraction from the GO-4 installation, isopentane and methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE).
6.Gasoline and diesel fuel from Salavat are sent to nearby regions of the country. And the main areas of sale of petroleum products for export are the countries of the European Union, the countries of the Customs Union, Ukraine, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan.
7.Elow Avt-6 - primary oil refining unit, commissioned in 2012. It stands for atmospheric vacuum tube with an electrical desalting and dewatering unit.
8.In the four horizontal dehydrators, the process of freeing the raw materials from the produced water and the salts contained in it occurs due to washing with fresh water. In a powerful electric field, water is separated from oil. After the preparation of raw materials at the ELOU block, it is heated and sent to the topping column, where oil is separated from gasoline to further facilitate the operation of technological furnaces and the operation of the atmospheric column.
9.After the topping block, the oil is heated in a furnace and enters the atmospheric column, the heart of ELOU AVT-6. Here, oil is divided into fractions: gasoline, kerosene, diesel, which are discharged into stripping columns, where they are brought to the required quality. In the future, these fractions are sent to the recycling plant. In the vacuum column installation is the separation of fuel oil into fractions. It produces a vacuum diesel fraction, which was not fully extracted in the atmospheric column, as well as light and heavy gas oils. The process is carried out at a high vacuum created by the steam injector system. This process of processing raw materials at the unit ELOU AVT-6 is completed: the finished residue - tar from the bottom of the column is sent to the production of bitumen and the installation of visbreaking.
10.About 15,000 tons of refinery products per day are shipped by all types of transport: railway, pipeline, and motor transport.
11.About 700 thousand tons of gasoline, about 2500 thousand tons of diesel fuel accumulates over the year. In 2014, the company began to make shipboard low-viscosity fuel, which is supplied to the Black Sea Shipping Company, the Volga Shipping Company, the North-Western Shipping Company.
12.Visbreaking - installation, the purpose of which is to obtain from heavy oil residue commercial fuel oil without the involvement of light petroleum products.
13.The structure includes: a reaction unit consisting of a furnace and a sacking chamber, blocks of atmospheric distillation, vacuum distillation and mixing of fuel oils, and an open flare unit is also present.

The company’s future development plans include increasing the capacity of low-density polyethylene, increasing the capacity of the EP-300 pyrolysis production to 340 thousand tons per year.On the flare system EP-300 - the highest point of the enterprise - 100 m.

Production of elemental sulfur is necessary for the processing of hydrogen sulfide gas (since it is simply impossible to burn it in flares). The unit for the production of elemental sulfur is the final link in the production cycle of the refinery and its decommissioning will stop all production along the chain.

38.On the territory of production the movement of buses and passenger taxis is organized. Buses operate around the clock and travel along four main routes. The interval of movement depending on the route and working time from 10 to 30 minutes. In total, the company has 28 bus shelters.
Factory taxi is available during the working day. There is a special ordering service, while the worker does not pay the fare, as in the city service. Orders for petrochemists are free.A taxi takes a passenger and takes it to any point of the industrial zone.
39.The main building of the company was built in 1954. Initially, where the entrance and the glazed arch is now, there was a road. In 1974, the passage was glazed.
